Hello, all! I'm a recent Amherst College graduate. During my years at school, I was a Tour Guide at the Emily Dickinson Museum and I completed my senior thesis, a 60-page critical work on Dickinson's poetry. I've also done independent research as a part of a selective summer seminar on international comics culture, studied abroad in Spain, and done some creative writing of my own. My philosophy is that in order to learn a subject well, it's important to find an angle that interests you. If you're learning Spanish, for example, you might not learn anything until you start watching Spanish-language horror movies. As a tutor, I will try and work with you to find out what approaches work best for you. I'm happy to help with writing (creative or academic), reading, literature, grammar, etc. in Spanish or English.
