I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and minors in Spanish and Mathematics from Auburn University. I am taking a small break from school and plan to apply for graduate school in a Physics program. I have spent the last four years tutoring Calculus and Physics. Calculus is my favorite subject to tutor because it is an intuitive subject when it has been explained well. I believe in letting students complete their own work and only stepping in to help when they reach an obstacle. I find that lecturing students is not an effective teaching method. In addition to tutoring, I play piano and keyboard for a couple of local bands. I enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities during my spare time.
