Experience
I attended Purdue University's School of Engineering and Technology in Indianapolis, where I earned a bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering. I've worked extensively with peers and others as a tutor, helping them with test preparation and class assignments. I presently work tutoring Geometry, pre-Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, and Algebra. In addition to these, I can tutor Statistics, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Competition Math, and Advanced Placement Calculus (AB and BC). I really love to tutor Trigonometry because it's so connected to Engineering. Algebra is very significant, too, because it's foundational in a variety of ways. I believe education should be enjoyable and rewarding. I also think education improves a person for the better. Education shouldn't be dense and dry, it should be something that empowers you. I hope to be an inspiration as a tutor, moving students to understand the importance of the material, its practical uses, and its connection to bigger, more expansive things. In my free time, I enjoy sci-fi films and texts, playing video games, etc. I also like to bike and spend time with friends.
