Before I moved to Portland, I was a professional tutor with a reputable test prep company for three years. I have extensive training and experience working with students of all ages and education levels. I focus primarily on reading comprehension, writing and grammar, and math subjects pertaining to standardized tests, as well as English school subjects at all grade levels. The subjects I enjoy teaching most are test prep, essay writing, and literary analysis—perfect for any junior or senior preparing for college. No matter where you’re at as a reader and writer, you will come away from my classes with an better appreciation of the subject, higher test scores, and greater confidence. I break down even the trickiest concepts clearly and methodically with targeted practice in the areas where you need it most. Most importantly, I’ll make our classes fun!
