I have tutored university students in 100 level German grammar and vocabulary. I love the German language and plan on continuing my tutoring career. I've also been a manager in restaurants and retail for the past 15 years. I have trained new employees for that field. I currently work for the largest independent bookstore in the United States, Powell's Books.

Hobbies
I love to read in English and German. I just bought the complete collections of Schiller as well as Goethe in German. I think I'll start with Goethe. I play guitar. I like to sing karaoke occasionally. I have a dog, two cats and 30 fish. I love all animals. I love to go camping in the Pacific Northwest where I live. I also love to travel. Planning the trip is one of my favorite parts of traveling. I love traveling with my husband of 10 years. We make a great team and have a lot of great experiences together, We own our own house and consider ourselves very eco-friendly people. We just bought a plug-in Prius.
