No official tutoring experience, but have spent elected time helping explain subject matter to peers and others who need assistance and was well regarded at helping to grasp subject matter. Test scores not available. I want to be a tutor becuase I genuinely enjoy helping people and interacting with my subject matter regularly. I am interested in working in education and this job would help me learn about how to effectively convey information. I am also considering joining the peace corps effort in Africa where science teachers are highly sought after. A tutoring job would help me to become proficient at educating for that purpose. I was an honor student most terms of college. I have worked with younger kids in math 24 competitions and have taught piano to young children. I have taken pieces of the ACS and related exams as part of my college career.

Hobbies

For the most part, I like to relax. I enjoy reading, watching shows, ir having small get together with friends. I enjoy general outdoor activities like hiking and biking and love to camp and experience nature. I used to play piano with a small band and was a high school musician, so music has always been in important part of my life, though my playing is not what it used to be. I love science and always have. Ever since I was very young, I aspired to be a scientist, and now am on my way to doing exactly that being a college graduate with a biology degree in pusuit of further education. Spending time with family is one of my favorite things and I always look forward to the opportunity to help take care of my younger relatives. I also grew up making wine and am still enthralled with the science and creativity the process involves. I've many times considered applying my degree to wine making.
