I'm a tutor based out of Portland, Oregon, where I enjoy hiking, skiing, and painting when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in biology from The Ohio State University and am currently a naturopathic medical student at the National College of Natural Medicine, located here in Portland. Because of my educational background, I'm able to help students in a variety of science and math courses. I believe strongly in the power that education has to transform our life situation. I also know that academic growth can be hard for many students. In my opinion, achieving a true breakthrough moment in an education requires a high level of commitment as well as sometimes some guidance from an external expert. As a tutor, I hope to provide the guidance that my students need to get the most out of their coursework. I encourage enthusiasm and enjoy sharing the reward of academic accomplishment with my students. I view myself as a learning partner, and so I absolutely love helping my students improve their academic skills. I'm looking forward to helping you find success in your studies.
