Experience

I'm Leia, and I enjoy explaining math in ways that are easier for students understand. I like to relate math concepts to applications in the real world to help students visualize and make sense of them. I also try to make my sessions as interesting as possible to keep students engaged and focused. I've been tutoring ever since I was a community college student, and I now have a masters degree in applied statistics from Portland State University. I'm looking forward to helping students in algebra, calculus, differential equations, trigonometry, statistics, pre-calculus, multivariable caucus, geometry, finite math, discrete math, and other related math subjects. In my free time, I like to sing, act, dance, and hike.
