ExperienceI have a bachelor's degree in creative writing from Western Kentucky University. Later on, I went to Trevecca Nazarene University, where I earned my masters degree in teaching. I currently teach ESL at the college level and in public schools. My teaching career started after I finished my undergraduate studies, teaching ESL and college preparation for students coming to American universities. I then had the opportunity to teach at the middle school level in Japan. I also spent some time volunteering in Ireland before heading to graduate school. As a graduate student, I also had a full-time position in the Metropolitan Nashville public schools. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with students of all ages in a number of different subjects, but my specialties are reading and writing. I've upgraded and written many papers, so I know how to help students put a good paper together. I also enjoy helping students with test preparation and history. In my free time, I like to read, write, learn languages, and travel.
