I am a qualified teacher through the UMass Medical School Center for Mindfulness (the Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD, et. al., program) and can currently support you in this domain. Hobbies

I'm friendly and outgoing, and I communicate clearly. I have attention and intention for co-creating a supportive learning environment, and prefer to focus on strengths instead of dwelling on 'shortcomings'. I realize that confidence and motivation are oftentimes more relevant to a student's success than an intrinsic level of 'ability'. I make an effort to communicate using a non-violent communications approach (I'm not perfect; my intention is definitely there though). http://www.cnvc.org/about/what-is-nvc.html I work to accommodate the varied needs of individuals. I genuinely enjoy helping people succeed and I'm easy to get along with. I take more of a let's figure this out together approach than "I'm an authority" attitude. -Christopher (he)
