I have been a college professor at multiple Universities in the state of Oregon for the past 5 years, I have taught nearly any kind of Philosophy class you can imagine along with courses in writing and many other areas of the Humanities and Social Sciences. I've published a number of academic articles as well as translated philosophy texts for publication from both Spanish and German. I've always found myself most competent to help students in a one-on-one setting, so becoming a tutor seems like an excellent way for me to practice my love for teaching by stepping outside the domain the University.
