Experience
I am a tutor who has experience working with students through a variety of programs. I specialize tutoring in history, English, and the social sciences, but I'm able to help students in many other subjects. I can tutor in algebra, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, statistics, reading, writing, literature, psychology, and more. I received my degree in Political Psychology at Claremont McKenna College. I continued on to earn my master's in Communications at Fairfield University. I've worked with students through the federal Upward Bound program and other tutoring programs in New York state. I've always enjoyed mentoring other students and helping them grow academically. It's a privilege for me to watch the students I teach grow and develop their skill sets. While I believe that coming to understand a particular subject is important for students, I strongly encourage those that I teach to develop themselves as well rounded scholars. I want my students to be successful at studying whatever subject they approach. I'm very active when I'm not busy tutoring. I spend a lot of time outside and I enjoy traveling.
