Experience
If you could use some help with Math, Reading, Writing, French, the PSAT, or the SAT, then I would love to lend a hand! I have extensive experience as an educator. I've worked in Paris as a high school teaching assistant, tutored numerous students both online and face-to-face, and even given private saxophone lessons. As for my educational background, I have a bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Jazz Performance and History from Willamette University. My strongest quality as a tutor, aside from my experiences and education, is a passion for academics. For example, I didn't just study French - I spent a year living and working in Paris. This allows me to tutor beyond a textbook and truly impart a sense of the language and culture to my students. It's an attitude I bring to all of the subjects I teach. By working with me, my students get an in-depth approach that they wouldn't be able to access through self-study. I'm able to help students with all levels of French, AP French Language and Culture, and preparation for the PSAT and SAT. When not pursuing my passions via tutoring, I am playing jazz music, going rock climbing, or kicking back with a good book of poetry.
