Experience
My tutoring experience primarily involves helping out classmates and family with creative writing and essays, or problems with their Algebra homework. I have achieved IB scores of 5 in IB SL History and IB SL Art (I could only take SL classes because I graduated a year early), and have an SAT score of 2100. I'm interested in being a tutor because ultimately I'd like to work in education; I also know how helpful this service would have been to me in high school. I've taken higher level English, History, and Art classes (IB) during high school. I've received Scholastic awards for both my artwork and my writing this past year.

Hobbies
I am very passionate about creating art, specifically with a focus on writing -- it is my goal to one day publish poetry and write stories for NPR. I also am a big fan and supporter of doodling. After having grown up all over the world, I've settled in Portland, Oregon in a tiny 2 bedroom apartment occupied by 5 people with 3 (three!) cats whom I love, including my own (is name is Butter Bean). I try to be very informed about social justice and feminist issues, seeing how they play into everyday interactions. I am learning more all the time. I love music, all kinds, and will always be up for giving recommendations; I played double bass for a few years at school, but have since given that up for slightly smaller musical pursuits.
