I have a BA degree in Chemistry and also focused some of my studies on Biology. Since attending college, I have worked as a Ecology instructor. I also do public speaking for the Boy Scouts and work as a sales trainer at a bookstore. I have experience working with students in the high school level. I taught science and engineering courses. I am able to help students in many subjects, but math and composition are the ones where I specialized. I am able to help students with different abilities and ages. I think that as a tutor, it's important to explain things in unique ways and multiple times in order to get through to each student. This is something that I'm able to do well.I think education is essential and it can open up the doors to critical thinking for life. I'm ready to help more students reach their educational goals.When I'm not working or tutoring, I like to play board games. I also like to listen to educational podcasts, go hiking, take vacations, and attend dinner parties.I can help you with subject studies or I can help you improve upon your test taking and study skills.
