I have two passions: art and language. I have always loved art, which led me to earning a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts and New Media from SUNY Fredonia and studying at Parsons The New School for Design. As a migrant to the United States and non-native English speaker, I discovered early on that I loved all aspects about learning language. I became fluent in English and then began exploring various other languages. In addition to speaking English and Spanish fluently, Japanese conversationally, and knowing 500-700 Kanji (Chinese characters), I am currently learning German, Italian, and Korean.I love teaching my favorite subjects to students and have four years of experience with students of all ages in two different countries! My dream is to teach high school students in Japan. In the past, I have spent time there teaching ESL to students from grades kindergarten to eleven. Here in the United States, I have tutored math and English one on one in both English and Spanish. Currently, I tutor Japanese, English, Spanish, ESL, reading, writing, public speaking, visual arts, creative writing, and art.When I'm not learning new languages and exploring other cultures, I draw, develop comics, travel, watch movies, and play video games.
