I tutored my latter years in college 1998-2001. I have tutored consistently from 2006-present. I truly enjoy helping pupils of all ages, including high schoolers and middle schoolers. I try to customize each lesson based on the learner and the goals of the learner and/or his/her parent/s and his/her learning style. I also enjoy working with young people and helping them feel inspired and courageous. I sometimes think it is as important that I help them with believing in themselves than remembering the quadratic formula, for example. Helping pupils develop the resources to fight through challenges and setbacks in life in general is crucial in my tutoring practice. Hence, I am not only helpful when it comes to tutoring for the subject matter for each course, but I try to also help the pupil with handling stress. I can provide many references!
