Experience
I've been passionate about the arts for as long as I can remember, and I'd love to help students with their visual arts and art history. I'm also available to tutor reading, writing, literature, history, psychology, geography, religious studies, social studies, English, and a variety of other subjects. I received my undergraduate degree in Fine Arts before going on to earn my master's in Art Therapy and Counseling. I've worked extensively with students as a reading tutor and I've also had the privilege of teaching special education classes. I have experience teaching art classes. As a tutor I work to create a personalized tutoring environment in which my students can thrive. I look at a student's strengths and interests and I incorporate them into my teaching approach. I encourage all of my students to stay positive, ask questions, and work towards their goals. My job as a tutor is to guide them along the way. I look forward to working with new students! When I'm not tutoring I do a lot of reading and I enjoy watching films.
