Let's turn that C, or B paper into an A paper! I taught undergraduate English and Composition at a SUNY university for several years before moving to the west coast to pursue a career in technical communications. I received multiple faculty commendations and excellent reviews from my students during my tenure as a writing teacher. I graduated magna cum laude from both my bachelors and graduate programs. My tutoring sessions focus on structural organization, research and rhetorical techniques, and editing. I teach a six part essay structure that makes writing a paper on any topic a straitforward, manageable process. If you are mystified by academic writing, I can offer you handouts and templates that show you where to use points and transitions. Any paper you write with me should take no more than two sessions. My suggestion is that you send me a draft of your paper before our first session in doc. or PDF format, after which we can meet informally at a convenient location for review. Every session includes a one-time edit of your final draft covering grammar and mechanical corrections, suggestions for arguments and research, and notes on style and transitions. If you have good ideas, but you're not sure how you can develop them on paper, I can offer a lot knowledge and support.
