***Regarding Appointments*** I prefer to meet at a university library, cafe, or other public place. ***REGARDING AVAILABILITY*** My "day job" has an extremely variable schedule, so I do not have regularly recurring days off. However, I also have a large degree of control over my schedule, so once you choose a day to work with me, I can, for the most part, keep that day open on an on-going basis. My rates can differ depending on the subject matter tutored. Contact me for more information. Sometimes I can work with your budget! I have tutored at the Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) Tutoring and Learning Center from August 2013 to December 2018 as a writing, math and chemistry tutor. I worked at Huntington Learning Center tutoring students K-12 for Math and English, and I tutored students for ACT and SAT Prep. I've also taught children in a summer reading course grades 3 through 8. I've taken up to English 102 and English 264, worked as a Teacher's Assistant in an English 102 class, and have taken up to Math 181 and Chem 220 (Organic Chemistry, Biology Emphasis). I enjoy helping people get to that "aha" moment where everything finally makes sense. I have experienced the frustration of learning a new subject and hitting a roadblock, and I remember how relieved I felt when someone finally explained a concept to me in terms that I understood. I hope that I can help others reach this point.
