Experience
I attended the University of Oregon, and earned my B.A. in Romance Languages (Spanish and French), graduating with honors. While enrolled, I minored in European Studies. I've had the privilege of traveling a lot after graduating, and I have lived in Germany, France, and Northern Ireland. While in Berlin, I studied Philosophy and German, and I also worked as a tour guide. My tutoring expertise is wide-ranging, but I most enjoy teaching languages, including introductory and advanced levels of German, Spanish, French, and English. I'm also familiar with teaching ESL/ELL, Writing, Reading, Literature, History (U.S., European, AP History), and Philosophy. I've worked with students in their coursework, with preparation for tests, and other skills. I very much value the importance of education, and I try to reflect this passion in my teaching. My goal is to work with my students to ultimately become confident and empowered in their studies. When I'm not teaching and working, I love to run, hang out with my dogs, and watch sports. I'm also in a band, and I love to write music, sing, and play piano and guitar.
