Experience
I hope to begin my journey to get my PhD in Education in the near future. For now, I do have my master's degree in Education, as well as a BA in Theater and Voice Arts. I even have a Musical Theater certificate. I also have a ton of experience instructing others in English, drama, United States history, music, and social studies. While I most certainly have the ability to tutor in a wide range of subjects, I have found that I love to tutor United States history and writing the most. After all, I believe these are the subjects where people will find the best stories.It is my philosophy in teaching to make sure that learning is always something fun and exciting for my students. This is done by giving all of my tutoring students the ability and freedom to truly express themselves. My tutoring space is a safe place for them. I also encourage questioning, critical thinking, and a lot of curiosity in the things that they are learning.When my tutoring day ends, I enjoy a lot of various physical activities such as rock climbing, running, and lifting some weights. When I want to spend more time indoors, I find myself watching action-packed movies.
