I am a skilled tutor who has a lot of experience in English, Social Studies, and History. I try to make the subjects that I am teaching as appealing as possible to my students. I do this because students tend to learn a lot faster when they find the subject to be intriguing. Along with motivation, I give my students the knowledge that is it okay if they are not great at taking tests. Some personalities do well with test taking, while others do not.To help those who struggle with tests, I provide a few tricks that should help make the assessments or tests a little less scary. Many students find that simply reading the test can feel as though they are discovering a second language for the first time. I explain that not only can they do this, but that it is possible to do it in a way that personally works for them. When they realize this, they find that future tests become less psychologically taxing on them. Some of the subjects that I enjoy include Reading, Writing, Literature, American History, SAT Writing, and European History, and College Essays. I enjoy reading and hiking in my free time.
