As a tutor, I have helped students at any age learn English, math, and science. I also have experience tutoring people in college biology, anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. For any student, I love to create an interactive environment they can learn in and we can work together in solving problems. I don't simply lecture through a lesson. The best way to learn is to do. I enjoy working together to help the tutee understand rather than memorize facts. No matter what topic I'm helping in, my goal is to serve as a resource students can use for excelling.I currently attend Oregon Health and Science University as a dental student. Previously, I graduated from the University of Oregon, cum laude, with a biology degree and chemistry minor. I now live in Portland and enjoy running, sailing, hiking, basketball, swimming, and traveling, when not working hard on my medical studies and tutoring.
