I attended Portland Community College where I studied mathematics. Following my graduation from Portland Community College, I moved on to Portland State University. I am currently still at Portland State University and am working toward my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. I have a number of years of tutoring experience. I have tutored algebra I through algebra IV. I also have tutored trig, pre-calc, calculus I, and physics. All of these subjects are subjects I find genuinely interesting. However, I most enjoy working with students to teach them calculus. As for my teaching style, I believe that each student is unique and has their very own way of learning new subjects. No two students are alike. By understanding and discovering a student's way of learning, I can then tailor a plan that will effectively help them learn and grasp new material in a way that "clicks" for them. When I am not studying or tutoring, I enjoy recording my own music and listening to music. I also have a green thumb and am always interested in getting sucked into a new book. I am very musically inclined as well, and I enjoy playing the piano and guitar. I currently reside in Portland, Oregon.
