Education

I received my masters in secondary education with certification to teach the social sciences in 2015 from DePaul University in Chicago IL and graduated with a 3.539 GPA. My undergraduate program was in Anthropology with three certificates including Cultural Anthropology; Medical Anthropology; and Anthropology of Religion which I received in 2012 at Hawai'i Pacific University in Honolulu HI. Prior to my BA I got a liberal arts degree in Science from Fingerlakes Community College where I primarily studied Psychology, Sociology, and hard science (Biology I & II, Physics of Sound, & Chaos Theory).

Experience

-Masters of Education with Teaching Certification -2.5 years experience as an instructor for Mad Science. -2 years experience teaching science to elementary and junior high age students at an enrichment center (Noggin Builders, Northbrook, Illinois) -Worked with students in extended camp at Trackers Earth PDX summer of 2015. I want to tutor in order to continue working with students of all ages while I work on transferring my teaching credentials from Illinois to Oregon state. Education is a life long passion of mine and want to continue being involved in it however I can.

My hobbies and many and continuously growing but primarily include composing and playing music, digital and classic art, leather working, metal working, hiking, wilderness survival, reading, writing, and exploring this complex interconnected and ever changing world in which we live helping people wherever I can along my way.
