I'm a tutor in Portland, Oregon, who graduated from the University of Oregon and Humboldt State University. I have a Bachelor of Art in Mathematics and Music, a Master of Music in Music with an emphasis in vocal performance, and a California Credential in Music and Mathematics. For more than a decade, I've taught math and music to students of all ages, and I enjoy helping students become more confident in their own abilities so that they believe in themselves enough to succeed academically. In addition to tutoring, I'm a professional musician who sings opera.I try my best to tailor my teaching style to the student that I'm teaching to make the learning process easier on the student. I tutor students in algebra, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, pre-calculus, reading, writing, arithmetic, math, English, and art. I also tutor students in music and IB Music HL, as well as provide singing and voice coaching services. Additionally, I'm available to tutor students during the summer months.When I have spare time, I enjoy singing opera music, baking desserts, spending time with loved ones, and gardening in a tiny box. I also like to collect vinyl records.
