I reside in Portland, OR, and graduated from Arizona State University. I earned a bachelor's degree in both political science and civil engineering. I also recently earned my master's degree in environmental engineering. I have the ability to tutor in many mathematics courses such as algebra 1 & 2, calculus 1, geometry, pre-calculus, trigonometry, and physics. I am also able to tutor reading, writing, essay editing, college essay writing, public speaking, physical and environmental science, and English. Through my own educational struggles, I have become very aware of how to overcome obstacles that may prevent a thorough comprehension of course material. I believe that if a student shows a strong will to learn then, with great patience, perseverance, and realistic goals of themselves, there will be a success story at the end of all their hard work. I am truly excited about the opportunity to help another student succeed in his or her own educational goals and enjoy success at becoming a positive contributor to society. When not working, I enjoy various outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, running, and camping. I also enjoy music and playing games with my friends and family.
