I once served as an academic librarian, which required me to work one-on-one with students who needed special focused attention. As a librarian, I aided pupils in discovering how to use the library and taught them how to best research the answers to any questions they encountered in their quest for knowledge. Along with being prepared to help students at any moment, I'm comfortable setting an agenda for each session, as I regularly planned the curriculum and taught classes at the library. My approach to tutoring involves serving as a patient and encouraging collaborator who respects and challenges each and every student. As a tutor, I'm able to help my students in a variety of subjects, including reading, writing, grammar and mechanics, English, PSAT preparation, and SAT preparation and subject tests. I truly believe that boosting a student's mastery of a subject is an incredible privilege, and I look forward to working with many more students. I hold a degree from the University of California Berkeley. In my spare time outside of the classroom, you can find me reading, cooking, walking, learning ballroom dancing, and trying to improve my French and Spanish.
