I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a B.S. in Computer Science. As far back as I can remember, I have always loved studying math and science. I felt like a detective as I cracked the codes of my equations, solving the mystery of assigning a value to the variable. I want to inspire my students in the same way I was inspired, where mathematics is viewed as an exciting challenge rather than a monotonous task.I work hard to build my students' confidence by simplifying the material and explaining it in ways they can relate to. By doing this, students are able to overcome their mental hurdles and grasp an understanding of the bigger picture. I love seeing my students succeed, and I feel privileged to be allowed to help enrich their studies.I tutor everything from math and physics to college entrance exam preparation. I especially love teaching computer science, as I have a background in computers and have worked as a software developer. Because of my background, I am confident that I have the skills needed to groom a new generation of scientists and mathematicians.In my spare time, I love reading various books, playing board games with my friends, and playing the ukulele.
