Private tutor in Portland, OR

University of Portland - Current Undergrad, Secondary Education

My career goal is to eventually become a professional educator. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Portland in Oregon. My minor is in mathematics. As a result of this focus, my strength as a tutor lies in math disciplines including elementary math, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra I, algebra II, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus I, and calculus II. I also offer summer tutoring and homework support. For clients preparing to take standardized exams, I offer help with AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC. Listening is one of my strongest communication skills, and I'm always willing to hear what my students have to say. My pupils find me an outgoing and effective communicator. When I am free to pursue activities away from the classroom, I'm normally found spending time with my large, gregarious family and friends. I love sight-seeing, hiking, playing sports, and spending as much time as possible outdoors.
