I have compassion for youth, and I care about their education. My partner works in education reform for public schools, and we are both driven to help students succeed academically. My tutoring experience includes helping students prepare for college with admissions essays and other English skills, along with tutoring elementary school students in all topics. I spent six years educating adults on diet and nutrition for a nutrapharmaceutical organization. I studied biology at Pitzer College, and I'm comfortable tutoring students in biology, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, nutrition, physical science, MCAT preparation, English, writing, and other related topics. When I have free time, I like to get outside, play with my dog, hike, cook, garden, and play Frisbee.
