I'm a community activist and poet who enjoys tutoring students in English topics like reading, writing, essays, literature, and ESL. I attended Portland State University to earn my masters degree in education, and I'm certified to teach adults. I've taught courses at the graduate level in political ecology, and I've also taught and tutored students for the GED and in ESL. I've also had experience working with students who have special needs. In addition, I served in the Peace Corps where I assisted teachers at the primary level in Uganda. I enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures, and I'm very passionate about ecology and environmental issues.
