My favorite part of tutoring is witnessing the moment of realization when a student finally understands a concept that they have been stuck on for a long time. I believe everyone should have access to an education and I do my best to make sure my students can overcome the roadblocks between them and their education. I am available to tutor a variety of math topics, including algebra, but my favorite is calculus. During my college physics classes, I have been able to use my calculus knowledge, so I am very fond of and familiar with it. As far as education, I have my physics degree from the University of Montana. Shortly after I graduated, I began my tutoring career. I have spent the past three plus years at a camp teaching. Teaching at camp has developed my passion for informal education. When I am not tutoring and teaching, you can find me hiking, blacksmithing, and playing guitar. I am looking forward to helping students develop a love for learning!
