Experience
I have tutored on the side for a while just as an extra way to speak French and teach French. I adore the language and love hearing people speak it for the first time and figure out how to create the particular noises and accents. I have helped students with their French homework, encouraging them to try and get the answer right, then going over what they could have done better. Being in France for a year made me realise how beautiful the language is, and I get so excited when I hear people speaking French in Portland. It would be a privilege to teach the language and enhance minds in this city!

Hobbies
I can't get enough of French and France. I love Harry Potter and have all the books in French, which I find so entertaining to read. I'm constantly watching movies in French (it's so amusing to watch disney movies with French dubbed over!) and it's generally a big part of my life. I've been learning it since I was seven, and has always been a second language in my life. I've also been around kids since I can remember, and have nannied for years. I think combining my love for the younger generation plus my passion for French is the perfect medley of knowledge and fun.
