I've been teaching ESL for over 10 years, in Asia and Portland. In my ESL career, I have been a teacher trainer and academic consultant for international publishing companies, such as Cengage and McMillan, and I've also written 14 textbooks. The books I've written include Composition Practice (Books 1, 2 and 3), and Testbuilder for the TOEIC exam. Much of of the second half of my career has been about test prep, most predominantly IELTS. I have an IELTS podcast and YouTube channel, both called IELTS Energy. Although I love writing, I also love teaching!
