I have an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Accounting, Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business.
Experience
I am a business adjunct professor, who loves teaching and tutoring the field of accounting. I enjoy breaking down accounting jargon to plain "English" understandable concepts . In addition, I am a 15 year veteran in the corporate finance world, having worked in the banking industry and several fortune 500 companies. I have had the opportunity to work at different positions at each of these multinational corporations in the accounting and finance departments. I brings these experiences to the teaching world. My love of business has lead me to teach and tutor. My strong passion for financial literacy, motivation and inspiration creates a learning environment for each student's success. I have a genuine interest in inspiring and motivating students in understanding the fundamentals of accounting and finance. I allow each student to guide the tutoring session, as we review all quizzes, mid -terms and tests. This ensures that the student understands the past lessons, before trying to understand any future lessons. In my spare time, I operate a small business that provide individualized sessions in Small Business Bookkeeping, Accounting, Finance and Business Management to business owners. This involves providing lectures, resources and practical experiences. I educate and develop engaging curriculum for students that have a limited knowledge on the subject of Accounting/Finance and Business Management by explaining concepts in understandable terms.
