My academic background includes triple majoring at the University of the South, Sewanee, where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. While attending school I gained experience tutoring peers in high level mathematics and science courses. As a tutor I feel very comfortable teaching a wide range of topics including Algebra, Differential Equations, Geometry, Calculus, Trigonometry, Physics, Chemistry, and test prepping. When tutoring I try to use different exercises and methods to make learning the subject at hand more comfortable and make it less intimidating. I attribute my time managing skills and organization to my success as an individual and try to build it into my tutoring, so that my students may pick up on the habits to better themselves when dealing with complex tasks and situations that may arise not just in academics, but in life in general.In my spare time I enjoy being outside whether that be surfing, snowboarding in the Rockies, or mountain biking.
